This year's banquet for the Lower Frederick Fire Company was a chance for all of its members and family to get together and honor John "JD" Detweiler. John was a dedicated member to Lower Frederick with over 40 years of service and had been instrumental in every bit of the design process of our 2015 Pierce ladder truck, so we thought it only fitting to dedicate it to him. Even though he is no longer physically here, every time that truck leaves the station we know his spirit is riding along with us to keep us safe.
