Outside Electrcical Fire - 11/19/2016

52 was dispatched to a tree on wires incident Saturday evening on Gerloff Road. Upon arrival Deputy 52 reported the downed wires had produced a field/woods fire. Crews staying at a safe distance until PECO could arrive to secure the power, kept the fire from spreading further. Once the area was safe from electrical hazard, the fire was extinguished by members from 52, 73 (Schwenksville Fire Company), 87 (Upper Frederick Fire Company).

Thank you for your service in the tremendous work you do! Your rapid and effective response saved our home and other properties from damage in what could have been a much worst outcome. It is very scary helplessly watching fire rushing toward your home. It gives us comfort knowing you folks are out there ready to serve!
