Station 52 was dispatched at 20:41 to assist Upper Frederick Fire Company for a reported dwelling fire with entrapment in the 1700 block of Snyder Rd. Upon arrival, fire personnel found heavy fire to the C/D side of the building but were able to determine that all residents were out of the multiple occupancy structure. Unfortunately two dogs were unable to get out and as a result, perished. Crews made an aggressive interior attack and were able to quickly bring the bulk of the fire under control. The UF Twp road crew delivered salt for the icy conditions with the temperature being 7 degrees. Moyer's Services Group Inc was called in to secure the building. Numerous fire, EMS, and the PSP FM were on scene assisting station 87 until 00:36.
