Firefighters from Lower Frederick Fire Company joined up with members from Upper Salford Fire Company to take advantage of the high water levels and work on their swift water skills. All members pictured have extensive training in water rescue operations. During times of heavy rain roadways, trails and other low-lying areas can become flooded and trap people either in cars, houses or other areas. Members are trained to use various methods to safely bring trapped people to dry, safe ground.
