Fourth of July Weekend Remains Steady for Station 52 |

| At 0928 hours, July 4th 2026, Engine 52 was dispatched to assist Perkiomen Township Fire Company on a Dwelling Fire in the 100 Block of Lincoln Road, Perkiomen Township. Supplemental information and additional 911 calls reported fire from the home’s attached garage. Initial units arrived with heavy fire conditions and began a transitional fire attack. Engine 52 arrived, as the fourth due engine, secured their own water supply and placed a 300’ attack line in service from Engine 52. As the incident progressed, an additional hand line from Engine 52 was placed in service off Perkiomen’s Pipeline 66. Engine 52’s crew assisted with fire attack throughout the dwelling, working alongside truck companies searching for fire extension. The crew was in service for roughly one and a half hours, before returning to station to restore equipment and apparatus. The fire is under investigation by the Regional Fire Investigation Team #1 (RFIT1). This incident came just as crews were lining up for the Upper Salford Fourth of July Parade- while Engine and Chief 52 operated in Perkiomen, Field and Ladder 52 attend the parade. At 12:49, Engine, Ladder, and Chief 52 along with Engine 78 (Upper Salford) were dispatched to a Carbon Monoxide Alarm in the 700 Block of Main Street, Schwenksville Borough. The companies were in service for roughly 30 minutes. |
